Your adoption helps to protect snow leopards in the wild. Snow leopards are found in Central Asia (Mongolia, India, Pakistan, China, etc). They are considered the “spirit of the Himalayas.” But they are disappearing. Their habitat is used for agriculture; they are hunted for their pelts; and they are killed to protect livestock. Only 3,500-7,000 snow leopards remain in the wild today. They are officially “Endangered,” like tigers and pandas.
