Apple has determined that a very small number of iPhone 6 Plus devices, a component in the iSight camera may fail, causing your photos to look blurry. These devices were sold primarily between September 2014 and January 2015.
Apple recommends repairing affected devices as soon as possible. As an Apple Authorized Service Provider, MacSolutions Plus will replace affected iSight cameras, free of charge. Please note this program only applies to the iPhone 6 Plus.
If you were contacted by Apple about this issue, you can bring your iPhone 6 Plus to our store in the Transit Casey Plaza for service.
If you have not been contacted, but you think your iPhone 6 Plus is producing blurry photos, you can see if it’s part of the program by going to Apple’s website and entering your serial number.

Repair Process
Your iPhone 6 Plus will be examined prior to any service to verify that it is eligible for this program and is otherwise in working order.
Note: If your iPhone 6 Plus has any damage which prevents the repair, such as a cracked screen, that issue will need to be resolved during service. You will be notified about any additional repair charges that are required.

- A technician will run a diagnostic test on the iPhone to verify eligibility.
- Repair turn around time will vary based upon parts and technician availability but is usually 24-48 hours.
- You will be notified when your iPhone is ready for pickup.

The program covers affected iPhone models for 3 years after the first retail sale of the unit.
