We bounced around with a lot of different scheduling programs before finally settling on When I Work:

We have 13 employees and it’s $220 a year. We use the scheduling, time clock and reminders features to keep employees up to date on their schedule.

Also has ability to team text, post open shifts, swap shifts, approved time off. If you enter an hourly wage for each employee you are able to instantly see payroll costs for shifts. I know a few other specialists use this as well. Has a nice iPhone app as well.

A well populated help center, youtube channel and easy intuitive interface makes scheduling employees a breeze.

Geo-lock only allows employees to clock in when actually at the store. Another close competitor is Deputy with the added feature of direct integration with certain accounting packages.
