Requirements

  • All devices signed into same Apple ID
  • Bluetooth enabled on all devices
  • Wi-Fi enabled on all devices
  • Handoff enabled in settings

Enable Handoff

On iPhone/iPad:

  1. Go to Settings → General → AirPlay & Handoff
  2. Turn on Handoff

On Mac:

  1. Go to System Settings → General → AirDrop & Handoff
  2. Turn on Allow Handoff between this Mac and your iCloud devices
