How SitePulse for WordPress Works

We built SitePulse for WordPress for ourselves first, and how SitePulse for WordPress works in Buffalo starts with a simple problem we knew well. After 25 years running a local business in Buffalo, we got tired of paying for SEO that didn’t deliver, so we built a system that actually works — and now it’s available to you.

25 Founding Spots — $79/mo, Everything Included 400 → 1,510 clicks/month — our own site

The Backstory

MacSolutions Plus opened in 2001 on Transit Road in East Amherst. For over two decades, we’ve been the place Buffalo families and businesses call when their Mac crashes, their PC won’t boot, or their office network goes down. Apple Authorized since day one. Family-owned. Three generations of customers know us by name.

A couple of years ago, we looked at our own website and realized something embarrassing: we were invisible on Google. People were searching for exactly what we do — “Mac repair Buffalo,” “PC fix near me,” “Apple service Western New York” — and finding our competitors instead.

So we did what most business owners do. We looked into hiring an SEO agency.

The quotes came back: $800/month. $1,200/month. One wanted $1,500. For a small business in Buffalo, that’s real money. And when we asked what we’d actually get? Dashboards. Reports. “Monthly optimizations” they couldn’t explain. It felt like paying someone to tell us what was wrong without actually fixing anything.

Then we tried the DIY route — Semrush, Yoast, Google Search Console. Great tools. We signed up, ran the audit, and stared at a screen full of 200+ issues. Fix what first? How? When? We don’t have 30 hours a month to become SEO experts. We’re running a business.

So we took a different approach. We’re technicians. We build solutions. We started writing code that does the work automatically — pulling live keyword data from Google, finding and fixing broken links, rewriting search descriptions so people actually click, connecting orphaned pages, scheduling fresh content. All of it running on a schedule, every month, without anyone clicking a button.

It worked. Our rankings climbed. Pages that were stuck on page 3 moved to page 1. By August 2025, Google sent us their milestone notification: 400 clicks in 28 days — our first “Congratulations” from Search Console. By March 2026, we’re at 1,510 clicks per month — up +666 compared to the prior period. Our phone rang more. Customers started telling us they found us on Google — something that hadn’t happened in years.

That’s when our IT clients started asking the obvious question: “Can you do that for our site too?”

We called it SitePulse for WordPress. Same system we use on our own site. Now it runs on yours.

Our Site. Our Numbers. Real Results.

We ran SitePulse for WordPress on our own site for months before offering it to anyone else. Here’s what happened.

August 2025 — Before
400
Google clicks / 28 days
“Congratulations from Google!”
March 2026 — Now
1,510
Google clicks / 28 days
+666 vs. prior period

277% more Google traffic in 7 months. Same system. Same site. Same team that now runs it for clients.

What Makes This Different

SitePulse for WordPress isn’t a tool you log into. It’s a service that runs in the background while you focus on your business.

We Fix, Not Just Report

Most SEO services generate reports about problems. SitePulse finds the problems and fixes them. Broken links get repaired. Meta descriptions get rewritten. Keywords get optimized. Automatically.

Built by a Local Business

We’re not a SaaS company in San Francisco. We’re the team on Transit Road in East Amherst. When you call, you get someone who knows Buffalo, knows your market, and knows your name.

Tested on Ourselves First

SitePulse runs on our own WordPress site every single month. We went from 400 to 1,510 Google clicks in 7 months — a 277% increase — before we ever offered this to a client. You’re getting a proven system, not an experiment.

How It Works: 4 Steps

From first call to monthly results. Here’s exactly what happens.

1

Free Site Review (15 minutes)

We look at your website together. Where do you rank on Google? What’s broken? What’s working? You’ll walk away knowing exactly where your site stands — whether you sign up or not. No sales pitch, just data.

2

Complete Site Assessment & Setup

Before we enable anything, we run a comprehensive assessment of your WordPress site. We check your theme, plugins, content structure, and existing SEO health. This tells us exactly which optimizations will work on your site — because not every WordPress setup is the same.

We install AIOSEO Pro (included in every plan), connect Google Search Console, and configure everything for your specific setup. Already using Yoast, RankMath, or another SEO plugin? No problem — we import your existing settings into AIOSEO during setup. Your SEO data stays intact, and you don’t start from scratch.

3

SitePulse Starts Running

Once everything’s configured, SitePulse runs automatically. Every month — on a schedule — it pulls your Google data, scans for problems, fixes what it finds, and documents everything it did. You don’t have to log in, click anything, or remember to check on it.

Different tasks run at different times: some weekly, some monthly, some quarterly. All coordinated so your site gets steady, consistent optimization without spikes that look suspicious to Google.

4

Monthly Reports, Real Results

Every month, you get a plain-English email report. Not a 40-page PDF full of charts you don’t understand. A clear summary: what keywords moved, what was fixed, what was published, and what’s planned for next month.

If you ever want to talk through the numbers, call us. We’re right here in East Amherst. Founding Member and Premium plan clients get a quarterly strategy call built in — but anyone can pick up the phone.

What Runs Under the Hood

You don’t need to know any of this for SitePulse to work. But if you’re curious — or if you’ve been burned by vague “we made optimizations” reports before — here’s exactly what runs every month.

Who SitePulse for WordPress Is For

SitePulse is built exclusively for WordPress websites — which means it integrates deeper than any generic SEO tool or agency playbook.

Great Fit

  • Small businesses in Western New York with an existing WordPress website
  • Business owners who know SEO matters but don’t have time to do it themselves
  • Companies that have tried SEO agencies and felt they weren’t getting their money’s worth
